The cutting consists of 10 cardboard sticks with plenty of wildflower seeds attached to the tips. The sticks can be removed individually and inserted into the soil. This makes it extremely easy to use. Break out the stick, insert the tip first into the soil until the seeds have completely disappeared, water, and you're done.
