Dill seeds

Originally from the Orient, dill was exported during Roman campaigns and is now considered the "herb of the North." In Scandinavia and the Baltics, dill characterizes numerous fish dishes. It is also popular in Mediterranean countries, where it lends its distinctive flavor to the most famous yogurt dish. In European cuisine, its flavor, reminiscent of caraway and lemon, is used not only in fish dishes but also in cucumber salads and preserves.

Ella prefers sunny to partially shaded spots on your balcony or in your garden. The soil in which it grows should be nutrient-rich and water-retaining. However, waterlogging and complete drought must be avoided at all costs.
