Highest heat and chemical resistance
PEKK 3D printing filament (polyether ketone ketone) is the ideal material for heavy-duty applications where extreme conditions prevail. With a continuous operating temperature of up to 255°C and a peak short-term temperature of 300°C, this filament offers exceptional heat resistance. Its chemical resistance makes it the perfect choice for manufacturing components exposed to harsh chemicals and environmental influences. Thanks to its non-flammable properties (UL94 V-0), PEKK also meets the highest safety standards, making it ideal for aerospace, automotive, and other demanding industries.
Maximum dimensional stability and low deformation
One of the greatest advantages of PEKK 3D printing filament is its low deformation during printing. Thanks to its isotropic shrinkage properties and excellent layer adhesion, you can produce parts with the highest precision and stability. Even without heated build chambers, the specially modified LUVOCOM® 3F PEKK 50082 material produces semi-crystalline parts with minimal deformation. This filament outperforms conventional PEKK materials with improved flow properties, significantly facilitating the printing process and delivering more consistent results.
Easy processing and improved mechanical properties
Compared to PEEK, PEKK is easier to process while offering similar strength and durability. The filament has an adjustable crystallization rate, allowing users of FFF or FDM printers to utilize PEEK's extreme performance characteristics while benefiting from the easier processing of amorphous materials. With a density of 1.27 g/cm³, a tensile strength of 90 MPa, and a Young's modulus of 3 GPa, this material offers the robustness needed for mechanically demanding applications. The higher glass transition temperature of PEKK compared to PEEK (15°C higher) means your parts will retain their shape even under extreme conditions.
