Polymaker HT-PLA-GF – Glass fiber reinforced PLA for the highest demands
Polymaker HT-PLA-GF is a glass fiber-reinforced PLA filament engineered for superior heat resistance and mechanical strength. It combines the heat resistance of ABS with the easy printability of conventional PLA, making it perfect for functional parts, tools, and applications that must withstand higher temperatures.
Outstanding features
-
Heat resistant up to 130 °C after tempering
-
High rigidity and improved mechanical performance
-
Excellent dimensional stability due to extremely low shrinkage
-
Easy processing with standard PLA printing settings
-
Reinforced with glass fibers for additional stability
-
Ideal for engineering and industrial applications
Heat and stress resistant
With a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 114.7 °C (0.45 MPa) and 84 °C (1.8 MPa) after annealing, this filament easily withstands high temperatures and mechanical stress – well beyond the limits of standard PLA.
Stability through fiberglass
The incorporated glass fibers ensure exceptional rigidity, high impact resistance, and minimal warping. With a modulus of elasticity of up to 4200 MPa, the material offers reliable mechanical properties in all compression directions.
Precision without compromise
Thanks to extremely low shrinkage of only 0.05% in the X, Y and Z directions, precise components are created – ideal for fixtures, assembly aids or functional prototypes.
Easy handling
Polymaker HT-PLA-GF can be printed using standard PLA settings. A nozzle temperature of 210–230 °C and a heated print bed of 25–60 °C are recommended. Due to the abrasive nature of the glass fibers, a hardened nozzle is recommended.
